Whilst none of us can manage to be involved in every part of church life, its still nice to know whats is going on. We hope that this area of the site will help to keep us all up to speed so that we can pray effectively for the ministries and be encouraged by the testimony of others.

Promiseland News
We are so happy with the way Promisland is going. We have been so blessed with an amazing team of volunteers. It has been, and continues to be, overwhelming. We are currently teaching 25-30 children each week. It's a miracle that we are reaching so many children, in particular, children who make their own way to Promiseland each week!

The vision we have been given by God for Promiseland is to reach out into Somerstown on a Sunday morning and to let as many children as possible have the opportunity to learn about the saviour of our world; Jesus. In a world where statistically children are bored with church, it's truely awesome to see so many children actively worshipping and inviting Jesus into their lives and to know they have a forever friend. As many of you are aware, we are currently raising funds to take the children of Promiseland to Legoland. We have booked a date of 17th July. So far we have raised £860 which is amazing! We plan to do a bag-pack at a local supermarket to raise further funds again. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so on-line, or see Fran or lare.
