Welcome to the King's Church...

We meet every Sunday - 11am at Portsmouth High School for Girls (map) and 6.30pm at the Kings Centre, 37 Elm Grove (map). We would love to have you join us.
Refreshments are served from 10.30am and parking is available at the High School or at the rear of the church in the Sarah Duffen Centre in Belmont Street.

Holy Spirit Weekend
On Friday 19th February 12 youth cell members arrived at Kings Church to begin 24 hours of learning about the Holy Spirit. 

The evening started with testimonies from Emma Brough, Jon Butler and Cath Gray and then a short talk by Martin. We were told the different characteristics of the Holy Spirit and how we can experience him. It was very clear from the short prayer time we had after some worship that the Holy Spirit was with us, and a number of the young people experienced him for the first time which was awesome!
 
After a pretty good sleep we had breakfast and then drove all the way to Denmead Baptist Church (the countryside!). After some searching through the Bible mapping all the places the Holy Spirit was mentioned, once again we had some anointed worship and invited the Holy Spirit to come to us. Pictures were shown, words were given and a few youth members became filled with the Holy Spirit and asked for gifts and tested words that were given!!

It truly was a special time shared with each other and the Holy Spirit. Everyone experienced something new and there was definitely a certain buzz in the minibus on the way home. Through God we experienced something new of Him in us and we bonded as a group.
